Event Location: Kanagowda Cricket Ground, Mysuru

Event Description: Sahana Charitable Trust in collaboration with MART 156 organised a cricket tournament for the visually challenged. MART was the major sponsor for the event contributing approx Rs.45,000/-. Three teams – Team Red, Team Blue and Team Yellow – from Sahana Charitable Trust took part in the event. In addition to the cricketing equipment and trophies, MART 156 sponsored t-shirts and caps for players from all the three teams. Three members from the Mysuru Warriors KPL team graced the occasion and interacted with the visually challenged players. The event was a grand success and got good media coverage in the following dailies – Mysuru Express, Andolana, The Hindu, Prajavani & Vijay Karnataka.
