Event Location: Ocean Pearl Hotel

Event Description: MRT 115, MLC 82 and MCRT 190 had organised a joint publicity project called “Knights in Khaki” to felicitate 12 policemen, i.e 6 policemen from the commissionerate level and 6 policemen from the SP level. The felicitation was attended by senior officials of the police such as Police commissioner, SP, IGP etc along with our Area Chairman Tr. Mayur Shah and Area Chairperson Cr. Sharon Pinto. The objective of the event was to give recognition to the hard working police constables and sr. constables for their efforts that often go without notice. The senior police officials thanked the tablers and the circlers for the recognition and said that the police force is mostly used to criticism and not recognition from the public. The even saw around 80 police officers and their family members attend the event along with members of the media. The officials also encouraged us to conduct similar events and seminars in the future to help improve the morale of the police force.
